Paul Erdös Awards

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

Dear Members of the Executive, Regional Representatives, and all other colleagues,

As you well know, the nomination time for the Paul Erdös Award 2024 of the World Federation of National Mathematics Competitions (WFNMC), is running out. The award is for major contributors to mathematics competitions and other major means of enrichment of mathematics instruction, in their countries and/or the world.

Letters of nomination, supporting materials, curriculum vitae, list of publications, and the list of references with their titles, addresses, phones, and e-mails, should be forwarded to prof. Kiril Bankov (kbankov@fmi.uni-sofia.bg), Chair of Paul Erdös Awards Committee. Please refer to the Awards section of the WFNMC web site http://www.wfnmc.org/ for detailed description of the requirements for nominations.

The initial deadline, which was November 30, 2023, has been extended by one month and now it is December 31, 2023. Please, think about nominating deserving persons. All complete nomination packages will be given a full consideration.
