WFNMC GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING notes 10 July 2004, Copenhagen

0. President Peter Taylor opened the meeting at 4:30 PM, with 28 delegates in attendance. He presented and overview of the issues considered by the Executive in the previous two meetings.
1. Latvian Math Society presented its medals to Emilia Velikova, Warren Atkins, and Petar Kenderov.
2. Nikolai Konstantinov presented a summary of activities of the International Tournament of Towns.
An overview 20 Years of WFNMC was presented.
3. Peter Taylor presented Warren Atkins with a crystal decanter for his lifelong service.
4. Peter Taylor spoke about the ICMI Study 16 Challenging Math in and beyond the Classroom, which he co-Chairs with Ed Barbeau.
5. Tony Gardiner made a presentation about a forthcoming WFNMC’s Conference in Cambridge in 2006. A Co-Organizer Bill Richardson added his insights into this forthcoming Conference.
6. Taylor shared the sad passing of Igor Sharygin of Russia.
7. Amendments to the Constitution were presented by Peter Taylor on behalf of the Executive. Taylor moved, and Kenderov seconded the motion to approve the changes. The motion carried unanimously. The revised text of the Constitution is found on this internet site.

8. Election of the Executive and Committees’ Membership took place. The following resulted from a unanimous vote of the delegates present:
